Leaving and Returning

I drove into the city one day last week, about a 75 minute drive from my house. As I drove west, a storm was beginning its move eastward. The sky was amazing, with the clouds all puffed up, swelling with rain, and some even had a bit of an ominous look to them.

Driving home was a different story, as by then the storm had moved towards other states east of me. The little stream and surrounding woods about five miles from my house had a magical look like something out of a fairy tale.

Before and after, each setting held its own natural beauty.
