Thanksgiving-Week’s End
November 26, 2006 on 7:00 pm | In General, Photography | 4 CommentsThanksgiving has come and gone, and another week is at an end. I hope that those of you who celebrate Thanksgiving had a wonderful day, filled with great food, conversation, family and/or friends, and moments to treasure.
I had a great week at my son’s house, and a wonderful Thanksgiving with my son, my two granddaughters, and with my daughter and son-in-law. We all chipped in, and did our part to make Thanksgiving a special day…creating our own food specialties, playing games, and making sweet memories.

Nostalgia
November 19, 2006 on 6:10 pm | In General, Photography | No CommentsFor those of you who celebrate Thanksgiving, in the U.S., have a wonderful holiday. For those who don’t celebrate this holiday, have a nice week. I will be away…visiting family. See you when I return on November 26th.
I will be traveling through some back roads, on my trip, and hope to take several photos.
I like traveling through the backroads, the small towns, and the big city. Each environment has something lovely to offer.

From The Old Mill - to the river flowing through it,

and, from the architecture-historic and nostalgic, Tennessee continues to bring delight to my eyes.

All About the Sky
November 13, 2006 on 11:53 pm | In General, Photography | No CommentsSome sunsets are just overwhelming, with their blaze of colors and light, their flow and powerful beauty.

All About the Sky
I love a sunset where I can see silhouettes against the sky…for me it adds so much intensity to the visual.

Energized
I like the seasonal holidays, and how the coldness of winter is lit up, not only by a beautiful sunset, or a scene at dusk, but, also by architecture with lights, adding more visual festivity to the loveliness.

Almost Dusk
Along with a festive look, lights can add a warmth to a photograph taken on a winter night.

Nikon D80 - Check out the Review
November 12, 2006 on 6:54 pm | In General, Photography Websites | No CommentsIf you are interested in purchasing a 10MP Nikon Digital SLR, then you might want to check out Dpreview.
From what I have seen, when testing this camera, in-store, it meets all the specifications stated, and would be an excellent camera to own, for either the semi-professional, or the professional user.
