Welcome! Some of you know me as Bookdiva.
This blog is the premiere of my website fotografaire.com, and the avenue in which I will be displaying my photographs, along with links to other sites containing them. I will be presenting some of my poetry here, for you to peruse, as well.

Thank you, Scott aka Jark, for your help in getting this up and running. Without your help, this domain name would still be parked, and be empty space.

I have been writing since I was a child. I write poetry, travel articles, short stories and inspirational quotations. You will often find my quotations within my photographs. I am in the process of outlining a book. I was born with a pen in hand, like an appendage, so to speak (an almost innate trait), and always have a yellow legal pad close by.

I have been taking photographs for as long as I can remember…something that I do because I must. My love of photography has no boundaries, from architecture to florals, from pictorial land and water, to whatever inspires an emotion in me to capture the moment in time. Photography is part of who I am, what I am. My eyes constantly see pictures wherever I journey, and reactions are sparked within me to create images of what I see, often using inspirational quotations, penned by me, in order to illuminate an emotion or mood.
